Yes, our shop minimum is $150.
is there an Age minimum?
Yes, you MUST BE 18 to get tattooed in the State of Illinois.
are walk-ins welcome?
Yes, walk-ins are always welcome, but there is no guarantee there will be an artist available to accommodate you at that time. The only way to secure an appointment is ahead of time, with a deposit.
do I need a deposit?
Yes, we require a $150 minimum non-refundable deposit to secure an appointment. Your deposit will go towards your final tattoo price. This deposit must be made in person.
what if I need to reschedule?
We require a minimum of 72 hours' notice if you wish to cancel and/or reschedule your deposit. Otherwise, you will forfeit your deposit. We do ask that you call instead of emailing the shop to make sure your artist is aware.
do you sell aftercare products?
Yes, we sell both After Linked lotion and Opti-Scrub soap, both of which we highly recommend for your tattoo care.
can I bring a friend?
We prefer you not, unless they are also planning to get tattooed. We don’t have a large waiting area, and for cleanliness purposes, the less people the better.
can I bring my children?
No, children are not allowed in Archer Ink Tattoo at any time.
do you do piercings?
Currently, we do not offer piercings, but we hope to in the future.
what areas do you serve?
We are located in Lockport, so the closest surrounding areas are: Homer Glen, New Lenox, Lemont, Joliet, Plainfield, Naperville, Romeoville, and Downers Grove. But anyone, from anywhere, is welcome!
how much will my tattoo cost?
Tattoo artists charge by time, and artist hourly rates vary, as well as other individual factors. Please consult with your desired artist for more specifics on tattoo pricing. And remember, you get what you pay for.
should i tip my artist?
While tipping is not required, it is a very appreciated gesture. Hospitality trends tend to apply.
